The Club has now moved to “Special Summer Rules” for fishing both lakes due to exceptional warm weather until further notice.

Please ensure you fish within these rules and if unsure please contact K Andrews (Club Secretary), or the on site Warden or one of your water bailiffs at the lakes.

Please remember one of the main temporary rules is ‘No Catch & Release’ and Fishing is Free to club members. Reduced rates for guests.

Fishing update….

First week of June. Some amazing dry fly fishing with spent Daddy and Mayfly being two of the many flies giving members hard, aggressive takes and fish taking them on an amazing ride before coming to the net. Some amazing pictures posted on the group chat and a memory for one daughter catching her first ever fish… as dad said…. “think she is hooked for life now”…..

I have been asked to remind members of the C&R and 3 Fish Kill rule when also Fishing to C&R. If you plan to dispatch up to 3 fish you can ONLY dispatch two fish then you MUST C&R all fish until you have either caught 9 and then you dispatch the 10th. Or it’s your last fish before going home. Members cannot dispatch 3 fish then continue to fish C&R unless you put a second ticket in the box. The reason why you cannot dispatch three and continue to fish C&R is if you deep hook a fish and need to then dispatch it you would have killed 4! Hopefully this clears up any confusion. 4 weeks produced a total of 548 fish caught with the Brown trout also now taking the fly…some very nice 3lb browns reported on the clubs what’s app group with some stunning photos… these fish really are very pretty…..

Just two weeks reports in so far for the month. 176 fish caught to date.

Fished stocked are on ave 2lb plus to 12lb in both Lakes, rainbows and Brown trout

3 fish kill limit per day. C&R fishing, 10 fish max per day, Barbless or Crushed barbs MUST be used

A reminder to all members- All fish over 5lb caught MUST be returned

New membership enquires for winter fishing starting November 2026 should be directed to the Club Secretary (email or click on the MORE tab, above). Membership for the Summer season is full. A waiting list is now in place for allocation of new memberships for this coming November.

We do NOT offer Day Fly-fishing Tickets.  Members are allowed to invite guests (see rules)
